“Friend 2” is coming out soon.
It’s been twelve years since the first movie “Friend” was released in 2001, rounding up a total of 8 million and more number of spectators.
The movie started filming on the 6th of May. The movie deals with the years 1963 and 2010, going back and forth between two generations. Director Gwak Kyeong-taek will takes the lead once again.
Yoo Oh-seong is starring in the movie again as Joon-seok and Joo Jin-mo is Joon-seok’s father and street gang Lee Cheol-joo who used to dominate the 1960s. Kim Woo-bin appears as Dong-soo’s (Jang Dong-gun) hidden son, Seong-hoon.
“Friend 2” starts off with Seong-hoon coming out of prison. This scene was shot in the Yeongduengpo Prison. Kim Woo-bin came out of prison with his hair to a side and wearing a sweatshirt and pair of pants. His crooked smile resembled a rebellious gangster in his 20s. Despite the fact that it was his first scene, he expressed his character perfectly.
Kim Woo-bin said, “I personally like “Friend” and I am happy to be in the second movie. I am not perfect but I will do my best not to harm anyone in the process”.
Gwak said, “Friend” is one movie to me. I feel like home to be coming back with “Friend 2”. I hope you look forward to this movie”.
Meanwhile, “Friend” will be released in later 2013.

"Friend 2" เริ่มเรื่องด้วยการออกจากเรือนจำของซึงฮุน ฉากนี้ถูกถ่ายทำในเรือนจำยองดึงโพ คิมวูบินออกจากเรือนจำด้วยผมแสกข้างเสื้อยืดและกางเกงเข้าชุดกัน รอยยิ้มเหยียดหยันของเขาดูเหมือนกับพวกที่ทรยศต่อแกงค์ของตัวเองในช่วงอายุ 20 ปีของเขา แม้จะเป็นการถ่ายทำฉากแรก แต่เขาก็สามารถแสดงออกถึงคาแรคเตอร์ของเขาได้อย่างชัดเจน
คิมวูบินบอกว่า " ส่วนตัวแล้วผมชอบภาพยนตร์เรื่อง Friend ครับ และก็มีความสุขที่ได้มาเป็นหนึ่งในภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้ ผมไม่ใช่คนสมบูรณ์แบบแต่ผมจะทำให้ดีที่สุดและจะไม่ทำตัวเป็นภาระกับทุกคน"
กวักกล่าวว่า "Friend เป็นภาพยนตร์เรื่องหนึ่งของผม การได้มาทำ "Friend 2" ทำให้ผมรู้สึกเหมือนได้กลับบ้าน หวังว่าคุณจะติดตามภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้นะครับ"
อนึ่ง "Friend 2" จะออกฉายปลายปี 2013
